Cecilia Boudreaux

Cecilia Mokiao King Boudreaux, 69, of Hilo died Nov. 10, 2013. Born in Waimea, she was a retired senior employee for the county.

Friends may call at 5 p.m. Dec. 6 at Borthwick Hawaii Funeral Home for a 6 p.m. service. A second gathering will be held at noon Dec. 7 at Leleiwi Beach Park.

She is survived by son, Ken King of Hilo; daughters, Gina King-Pa, Denise Mossman and Rebecca King-Mossman, all of Hilo; brothers, Robert Perreira of Kona, William Mokiao III and Matthew Mokiao, both of Honolulu; sister, Lei Yoshioka of Hilo; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Diosdada Natividad

Diosdada “Dading” Mendoza Natividad, 66, of Puna died Nov. 7, 2013, at home. Born April 6, 1947, in Luzon, Philippines, she was a proprietress for a papaya farm in Pahoa.

Friends may call at 5 p.m. Dec. 6 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for a 6 p.m. service. An all-night vigil follows at the family residence in Nanawale Estates, Puna. Family requests casual attire be worn. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Dec. 7 at Homelani Memorial Park in Hilo, Ilima section.

She is survived by companion, Danny Bautista of Puna; daughters, Delia (Eddie) Yadao and Divina (Bertram) Duran both of Pahoa; son, Nestor (Lydia) Natividad of Philippines; nine grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Katherine Tirrell

Katherine Tirrell, 92, of Keaukaha died Nov. 8, 2013. She was born in Honomu.

She is survived by sons, Timothy (Gwen) Tirrell of Hilo, Charles (Annette) Tirrell III of Texas; daughters, Merle (Dean) Kukona and Charlene (Howard) Pea, both of Hilo; sister, Lily Hokoana of Honolulu; 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Rebecca Peke Abraham Baji, 87, of Hilo died Nov. 17, 2013, at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Hawaii, she was a retired aide for Hawaii Island Adult Center and member of Thy Word Ministries Faith Center of Hawaii.

Antonio Gomera

Antonio “Tony” Gomera, 77, of Ookala died Nov. 17, 2013, at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born July 5, 1936, in Paauilo, he was a retired factory mechanic for the former Hamakua Sugar Co., a self-employed farmer and yard cleaning serviceman, Air Force veteran and member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.

Friends may call at 8 a.m. Dec. 7 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Papaaloa for a 10 a.m. service. Burial follows at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Family requests casual attire be worn.

He is survived by wife, Veronica Gomera of Ookala; daughter, Antanette (Paul) Tam Sing of Honolulu; sons, Lawrence (Christina Tina) Gomera of Honokaa, Terrance (Marsee Kanani) Gomera of Ookala; hanai sons, Bert (Gina) Braley of Spanaway, Wash., Gabe Gomera of Hilo, Wesley Salboro of Papaaloa, Royden Lukzen of Ookala; hanai daughters, Bridgette (Shawn) Kalles of Vancouver, Wash., Valerie (Sonny) Pointdexter of Ookala; brothers, Lucino (Isabell) Gomera of Paauilo, Domingo Gomera of Ookala, Daniel Gomera and Gabriel (Verna) Gomera, both of Hilo; sisters, Cris Poligratis of Kawaihae, Julia (Joseph) Costa of Honokaa, Oria (Roger) Michaelis of California, May (Gerald) Otomo of Hilo; nine grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Clinton Hinano “Pancho” Kahilihiwa, 69, of Hilo died Nov. 15, 2013, at home. Born in Kalapana, he was a retired worker in the natural resource management department at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.

Shozo “Chabo” Nagao, 86, of Hilo died Nov. 20, 2013, at the Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Facility. Born in Hilo, he was a retired fire chief with Hawaii County Fire Department, World War II Army veteran and member of Heritage Christian Fellowship, Hawaii Fire Chief’s Association, Hawaii County Retired Firemen’s Association, Pirates Golf Club and Waiakea Pirates Association.

Friends may call at 10 a.m. Dec. 7 at Dodo Mortuary chapel for an 11 a.m. service. Cremation follows. Family requests casual attire be worn and no flowers.

He is survived by wife, Betty Nagao of Hilo; son, Ian Nagao of Hilo; daughters, Vicki (Lloyd) Narimatsu and Ada (Kevin) Hayashi, both of Hilo; sister, Kazuko Young of Newark, Calif.; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Samson Nani “Samboy” Peneku Jr., 33, of Mountain View died Nov. 6, 2013, at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Honolulu, he was a self-employed carpenter and landscaper.
